A half day focused programme led by industry guru Mike Fairley and a panel of leading industry experts

 


Key objectives

  • To provide converters and end users with a hands-on, practical understanding of the technology of smart labels/RFID – chips, antenna, straps, adhesives, conductive inks, inlays, tags, HF, UHF, frequencies, inlay integration, performance and application
  • Delegates will be taught how smart labels are constructed, included in-line and off-line manufacture, the printing of antenna with conductive inks, methods of attaching straps and inlays, how and where to test for faulty inlays and controlling the finished product
  • All attendees will receive a free copy of the “RFID Smart Labels – a ‘How to’ guide to manufacturing and performance for the label converter”

  • The use of adhesives in inlay assembly
  • High speed personalization
  • Printing/overprinting of smart labels
  • Quality performance and control
